Whenever I get a new lens my dog is usually my first model. Yesterday I picked up a Tokina 11-16 f/2.8 AT-X116 Pro DX II Wide Angle Zoom. This is the first “off brand” lens I’ve purchased for my Canon bodies and I think I’m going to love it.

Hot Dog!
In the downtown area looking for a quality meal at a food truck price? Dirty Frank’s Hot Dog Palace might just be the place for you. This might be the cheapest restaurant operated by Liz Lessner but that doesn’t mean it’s lacking in quality. Plenty of Gourmet hot dog options and toppings with alcoholic slushies and unique decor to boot. Â Veggies and Vegan’s have no fear as they also have plenty of options for the not dog crowd as well. Be prepared to wait a bit as I’ve been here several times in the evening, and this is the first time I’ve seen the place not packed to the gills.

The Columbus Zoo
So this week I picked up a new lens and decided The Columbus Zoo would be an excellent place to test it out. They have some very nice exhibits, and if you haven’t been recently or never at all I would definitely recommend it. Columbus residents also get half price admission on Wednesdays with a proof of address.
